To maintain existing essential and vital services for our members we need to raise a minimum of €2,000,000 annually. Due to lack of service provision and lack of funding there is a constant demand on us to provide essential therapy services nationwide. The short term economic future for Ireland looks bleak and the soundings coming from the HSE are worrying. For us to begin to make serious inroads into providing essential supports and services for individuals with Down syndrome, of all ages, we need an additional €870,000.
There are many ways you, your family, your school or your company can help. By participating in one of our events, organising an event of your own or making a donation you will help raise much needed funds that will help us to provide necessary services for people with Down syndrome and their families.
