  • Conduct fundraising campaigns on your company property, grounds. 
  • Create a fundraising event, using your company's resources. 
  • Host events for management, their families, friends and employees. 
  • Make financial or in-kind donations as individuals or through your company. 
  • Conduct a company golf tournament to benefit Down Syndrome Ireland. 
  • Name Down Syndrome Ireland as the beneficiary of an employee payroll deduction plan.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Working with DSI can benefit your company by promoting your corporate social responsibility strategy and demonstrating a commitment to people with a learning disability. Businesses can support the work of DSI by sponsoring an event, organising their own fundraising event or providing support in kind through their staff and expertise.

Payroll giving

Simple, tax-free charitable giving direct from your pay.

Planned giving through your wages/salary is a very efficient and effective way to support Down Syndrome Irelands work on an on-going basis.

Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each €1.00 you give will only cost you 80c, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60c.

Payroll giving is a valuable, long term source of revenue, providing regular income to help our budget and to plan us ahead more effectively. Employees can choose to support Down Syndrome Ireland with a regular donation direct from their pay. It's cheaper because its tax free - for example, a donation of €5 per month costs the basic rate tax payer €4.00 (the taxman pays the rest!

Charity of the year

Why not nominate Down Syndrome Ireland as your company's 'Charity of the Year', a planned and sustained method of helping us and the people we support. A whole range of fundraising events can be tailored to suit the needs of your company and its employees.
