The National School Teachers' and SNAs'  will be hosting a 5-a-side in Mayo Astro-Turf Soccer Blitz in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland.  This year’s Blitz weekend will be held on the 13th - 14th May 2011. Ultimate Girls Night Out - 2nd October 2010

The Headfort Arms Hotel in Kells are very kindly helping Down Syndrome Ireland Louth Meath by hosting the ultimate girls night out in aid of the Louth Meath Branch and it promises to be a night not to be missed.

On the night guests can choose from a free makeover by renowned makeup artist Sarah Butcher who is now based in the Spa Rooms in the Hotel or a mini treatment by one of the highly trained beauticians from the hotels luxurious Spa Rooms. There will be Cocktails and a live DJ set on the night with free entry to all ticket holders into the VIBE nightclub.

Are you a cyclist? Would you like a take part in a tough course and raise funds for Down Syndrome Ireland but also have fun? Why not take part in either a 104 mile cycle or 52 mile cycle (this is a leisure spin) taking place from Cratloe, Co. Clare on June 12th. Sign in is between 8am and 9am and entry fee is €50. Afterwards why not relax and have some fun at the BBQ and HB Ice cream party.

Sponsored Swim

Meath Masters Swimming Club and Aura Trim Leisure Centre are hosting a sponsored Swim with all funds going to the Down Syndrome Ireland swimming team. All funds will be used to send a team of 16 to the 5th International and World Swimming Championships in Taiwan in October. This is a great opportunity for our team and it is a great honour to represent Ireland abroad.

The Sponsored Swim is taking place a Aura Trim Leisure Centre on Sunday 9th May from 10am - 8pm with a raffle also taking place at 9pm in Trim GAA Club.
